Uganda’s independence for the past 40 years has been more of a flag independence than a real one, was the day’s topic of discussion.
Some discussants, with anger and emotion, argued that the topic of discussion was still relevant as it was 25 years back.
Beti Kamya, Reform Agenda publicity secretary said, “40 is so small in the process of growth for a country like Uganda.”
Gulu Municipality Member of Parliament Nobert Moa and MP Odong Otto (Aru county-Pader district) were among the presenters.
