CENTURY Bottling Company (CBC), producers of Coca-Cola have launched a month-long campaign to help raise funds to aid Uganda Women’s Effort to Save Orphans (UWESO) initiative to educate HIV/AIDS orphans.
The launch was presided over by Coca-Cola boss John Donnachie at their plant in Namanve, near Kampala on Friday.
Under the campaign dubbed, “Buy-one-and help-oneâ€, every bottle of Coke products sold, sh2 will go to UWESO Masulita Children’s Village.
In the past, CBC raised sh14m to help UWESO and last year, another sh17m was raised under a similar campaign to support National strategy for the Advancement of Rural Women in Uganda (NSARWU),
