WHEN everything else fails turn to Jesus or so a common Christian saying goes.

This is what State minister for defence, Ruth Nankabirwa did on Saturday when she used the word of God to appeal to the people of Kiboga to forget their political differences and form a united front against backwardness.

“As the Bible says, there is time for everything. During campaigns, we were divided into different camps but now that the campaigns are over let us all work together for the good of all the people of Kiboga” she said, adding, “We must put the interests of Kiboga a head of other interests and unite as brothers and sisters for the development of the district, Buganda and Uganda as a whole.”

Nankabirwa, who is also Kiboga woman MP, was on Saturday addressing a reconciliation meeting at Makerere Guest House convened by the chairman of Kiboga Development Foundation (KDF), Bazanye G. Nkangi.

The meeting follows a bitter political row which has been going on between Kiboga leaders.
