Musicians fundraise for Sengo children

HE was one of the best songwriters Uganda has ever known, and an all-rounder musician if we ever saw one.
Three years ago, he died, leaving a family of five children behind. A year later, their mother died, leaving the children without any tangible support.
This evening at Sabrina’s Pub, some of Uganda more famous musicians will get together to fund raise for the children of the late Tony Sengo.
“What we plan is more of a fund-raiser than a memorial event,†Godfrey Lubulwa, Sengo’s younger brother, told The New Vision. “The children are finding it very hard to survive and do things like school fees. So we want to raise some money and finish the house Tony was buildingâ€, she said.
