SIR— It was good news for many of us to learn through The New Vision of Tuesday, November 4, that 1,300 elephants had returned home from Eastern Congo
SIR— It was good news for many of us to learn through The New Vision of Tuesday, November 4, that 1,300 elephants had returned home from Eastern Congo where they had taken refuge during the war between the UPDF and the ADF insurgents.
Surely, this is evidence to all those “interested†in war that it takes a heavy toll on all humans and animals, plants and all nature. Let us opt for peaceful means of conflict resolution to save the lives of the innocent and our habitat the environment.
