A CLASH between SC Villa and Express FC is what most football fans crave for. Although the first round legue encounter between those clubs is still far, Intercontinental Ad Agencies has organised a prelude of sorts.
According to a release signed by George Buwule, Express and Villa will be among the four clubs that will participate in the East Africa Cup Holders Cup.
SC Villa were invited to the tournament as the national Cup holders while Express are the immediate past holders.
The other two clubs that will participate in the tournament are Les Citadin FC of Rwanda and Moi Golden Cup winners Pipeline FC.
The tourney is aimed at coping with the regional competition and preparing the clubs for the CECAFA Club Championship and CAF competitions.
The tournament to be launched next Monday is expected to be sponsored by National Oils. Ends
