A South Africa software company, Pastel, have launched its new software Pastel Accounting Version 6, aimed at improving accountability in business enterprises.

A South Africa software company, Pastel, have launched its new software Pastel Accounting Version 6, aimed at improving accountability in business enterprises.

It comprises of base features and option add-on modules, including the inventory, bill-of-materials, point of save facilities, extensive navigation, first reporting options.

“This is a 32 bite application with head-on features which include cheque and remittance assistant, an extended general ledger to seven digits, a forms designer and a multi-store system.’ Pastel representative Abel Makgato told The New Vision at the launch on Friday at Grand Imperial Hotel.

“We have already signed an agreement with Rank Consult Uganda Limited that allows the company to support and market Pastel products.” he said. The software was developed in South Africa.
