Fray driving
KCC FC coach Jan Fray left for Denmark on Monday for Christmas holidays, a happy man, after receiving keys for a new BMW car from his club. KCC FC secretary Gideon Karyoko confirmed the news on Thursday. In addition to the car the club will get Fray a house in a posh Kampala surbub most probably Muyenga upon his return on January 6.

Stars’ action
STEVEN Kawuma and Isaac Munanira will lead a star-studded entry at the End of The Year Open starting today (Dec 27). The event due to end tomorrow will be held at the Kireka Rehabilitation Centre. Kawuma and Munanira will be back to action after their good displays at the Chess Olympiad.

Express date
NAKIVUBO Stadium’s being booked tomorrow might have forced National Football League Committee (NFLC) to put off the match between Simba and Express, but this will not deny the latter’s fans from watching their team in action. The League Committee has fixed a match between Express and Mbale Heroes at Wankulukuku.

Nkumba tops
STEPHEN Omwony’s presence was an inspiration as Nkumba University lifted the East Africa University Games men’s basketball trophy. Nkumba beat United States International University of Kenya 52-45 to the trophy. They also lifted the women’s volleyball trophy and were runners up in netball. Ends
