By Joyce Namutebi THE campaign task force of presidential candidate Aggrey Awori has refuted reports that 60 supporters from Makerere University had crossed to the Movement. The New Vision last Saturday quoted the chairman of the Uganda Young Democrats, Makerere branch, Henry Lubowa, as saying that 15 students, formerly supporting Awori, had crossed to Col. Kizza Besigye's camp, while others had joined President Yoweri Museveni. "We were all promised dollars from America... but this was not fulfilled," Lubowa said. Higenyi Kemba, the chairman of Awori's task force at the university, said Awori had a task force of 180 students and challenged Lubowa to produce the defectors and their letters of appointment. Ends
