By Joyce Namutebi PRESIDENTIAL candidate Mohamad Kibirige Mayanja on Wednesday attacked the Movement Vice-Chairman, Haji Moses Kigongo, saying he was just being used by the Movement. Addressing a rally in Bulo Butambala, Mpigi district, Kibirige said, "Kigongo knows very well that he does not fit in there (Movement). They are just using him." Kibirige said Kigongo had done nothing for the area. The rally was held less than a mile from Kigongo's home area. Kibirige said the Movement did not permit areas to develop at the same pace. He, said for instance, the State House scholarships and the posh vehicles all go to the west. He in addition said four of the presidential candidates were from the west. He said the Movement entrusts power in the hands of one person, which he said was exploitative. Kibirige said President Museveni and former aspirant Nasser Sebaggala have ill-luck. He warned Col. Kizza Besigye and the Democratic Party who have formed an alliance with Sebaggala that they would fall into trouble. He said Sebaggala had never done anything successful. "We elected him mayor. We refused him to go to America, he went and lost the seat. Then he decided to contest for presidency, his people were killed. After the incident that is when he admitted that he did not have the required qualifications," Kibirige said in Luganda. He said the Museveni regime was full of ill-luck. He said this was the first time Ugandan pilgrims had been stopped from going on a pilgrimage to Mecca. He accused Museveni of bringing the deadly ebola virus into the country. "We would be in trouble if we returned Museveni," he said. Quoting the Bwindi incident, he said Museveni's term had been characterised by wars. He vowed not to allow fake investors into the country. Some men were playing cards at the venue during the rally. Ends
