GAPCO Loses Sh25m

KAMPALA - Armed thugs on Monday robbed Vinay Vijayakar, the GAPCO Uganda Limited sales manager, of sh25m at gun point at the Entebbe Municipality junction. Vijayakar and the GAPCO branch supervisor, Moses Olweny, were taking the money to the bank, at 10:00am when the robbers forced them off the road. Vijayakar was driving a white Corona UAA 594D out of the petrol station when the thugs approached and shot at them, Olweny said. Ends
