The Bishop of Lugazi diocese, Dr. Matthias Sekamanya, has said Catholic-founded schools were not set up to convert children to Catholicism.

"We don't build these schools to convert the young ones but we build them focusing on Catholic teachings so they can grow up as responsible citizens," Sekamanya said.
