NFLC starts stadia inspection

NATIONAL Football League Committee (NFLC) has dispatched three technical experts to inspect all new grounds ahead of the start of the 2001 Nile Special Super league.

By Leo Kabunga NATIONAL Football League Committee (NFLC) has dispatched three technical experts to inspect all new grounds ahead of the start of the 2001 Nile Special Super league. Retired FIFA referees Charles Masembe and Mohammed Rajab Kisekka will inspect all grounds in Eastern and Northern regions and report back within three days. Lawrence Tamale, also a retired FUFA referee starts will handle western Uganda grounds. NFLC secretary Raphael Bwire said that Masembe will start with the SCOUL ground in Lugazi and proceed to Iganga and Tororo where league debutantes Rock Star is based. Kisekka will inspect Black Rhino ground based in Lira while Tamale starts with Masaka LC ground through Mbarara to Kabale where league new entrant Horizon is based. All grounds must provide dressing rooms for players and officials, toilets, perimeter face and guarantee security. KCC and Express seem set to move to Namboole while Simba may move to Bugolobi. Ends
