WB Orders Rubaga To Find Land For Offices

THE World Bank has given Rubaga division up to June this year to find a site for their offices before it releases the construction money, writes Vision Reporter. Justin Sendikadiwa, the division chairman, told The New Vision that the Bank officials visited him last Friday and asked him to find the site soon so they can release a US$300,000 (sh510m) grant for the construction. The division is currently renting offices on Namirembe road at sh1.8m per month. Sendikadiwa said the division had found a site near Rubaga Cathedral but the Bank disapproved it saying it was a residential area. Ends
