By Pascal Niwebyona MORE than 50 premises in Kamuganguzi sub- county, Kabale, have been connected to the national power line in the last year. The district councillor, Mr. Sam Ndaaba, told residents of Kamuganguzi recently that electricity had improved the welfare of households and boosted business on the border town of Katuna. He said the villages of Buranga, Kasheregyenyi, Kyonyo, Katuna, two secondary schools and a health centre had been connected to the power line that serves Rwanda. Ndaaba said due to stability, the residents have access to safe drinking water provided with support from the Kigezi diocese water project. He called on the people to vote for presidential candidate Yoweri Museveni so that he consolidates the developments he has achieved. "This electricity did not come here by accident, otherwise why had it taken that long? Let us vote in favour of the one who brought it if we want development," Ndaaba said. Ends
