KAMPALA - This year's Idd-Aduha celebrations will be held on March 5, the Muslim Council's secretary for religious affairs, Sheikh Mahad Kakooza, has said.

KAMPALA - This year's Idd-Aduha celebrations will be held on March 5, the Muslim Council's secretary for religious affairs, Sheikh Mahad Kakooza, has said. This follows the appearance of the moon on Saturday and an official confirmation from Saudi Arabia, the religious headquarters of the faith. Kakooza called upon Muslims to pay Zakatu, a special offering to help needy people celebrate the day. He said district Khadis should collect the programme for the day from the council headquarters at Old Kampala. Ends
