CID Summons Col. Besigye

KAMPALA – Former presidential candidate Dr Kizza Besigye told Radio One last night he was summoned to appear before the CID today at 2.p.m. over suspected seditious statements he reportedly made. He said the summons, signed by Mr Godfrey Bangirana, were delivered to his home late yesterday. Besigye also told his supporters with evidence of election rigging to contact his office and prepare to give evidence in court. "The election has not been concluded yet," said Besigye. Ends
