Military Police, coached by German trained Sam Ssimbwa, are in high spirits, and are optimistic they can upset the great Zambian side, popularly known as Nkana Red Devils. To achieve their dreams however, officials of the club are seeking sponsors. Yesterday, The New Vision donated $200 (sh350,000) to help them make their Tuesday's trip to Zambia. Military face Nkana on March 31 in Kitwe copper-belt in the first round of the Africa Cup Winners' Cup before the return leg in Kampala on April 14. Military assistant secretary Capt. Deo Mwitirwoha and sports officer Capt. Ivan Ntakamarize received the donation from New Vision Editor-in-chief and managing director William Pike . "We are very grateful for the donation towards our trip to face Nkana. This is kind of The New Vision. The team is tentatively set to leave on Tuesday," said Mwitirwoha. Military, entered residential camp this week at Makindye Military Base and holds double training sessions at Nakivubo stadium. This will the side's first ever continental assignment. National Football League Committee vice chairman Livingstone Lajan is leader of delegation. Other games will see SC Villa host Burundi's Club Sportive Vital'O on March 31 in the champions league and KCC face South Africa's Ajax Cape Town in the CAF Cup. Ends
