By Joshua Kato A young man tried to win the sympathy of Kisaasi residents by lying to them that his boss had beaten him for voting Kizza Besigye in the elections. According to eye witnesses, the man ran out of his boss' compound and towards trading centre, naked. When he was asked what he was up to, he said he was being persecuted by his boss because he had voted for Besigye. Concerned, some people decided to go back with him to his boss. However, they smelt a rat when the man resisted saying that instead he should be untied and let go. They insisted on going with him. On getting there, they discovered that actually, the man was a thief. Cornered, he also confessed to stealing over 40 new iron sheets. The man was caned for making false accusations and telling lies. He was later taken to Kiira Road Police Station. Ends
