Mayanja Case

KAMPALA - Winston Mayanja, a reggae musician and son of justice and constitutional affairs minister Mayanja Nkangi, has pleaded to the High Court for more time, before it rules on a bankruptcy petition filed against him by Crane Bank Limited over a sh20m loan. The petition follows a judgement ordering Mayanja to pay the loan. He, however, failed to honour judgement and was consequently arrested. He was bailed out by his father who at the time orally guaranteed to pay the loan. Payment has not been fulfiled up to now. Ends
