By Justin Moro SECURITY in and around Paraa and Pakuba lodges has been stepped up with the deployment of more UPDF forces. Sources on Wednesday said the deployment follows the Tuesday suspected LRA rebel ambush which left 10 students and the director of the Jimmy Sekasi Institute of Catering dead. The Gulu RDC, Musa Ecweru, who visited the ambush scene on Wednesday, told the Paraa Lodge management and Murchison Park officials that the UPDF was doing everything to tighten security in the area. Ecweru appealed for calm, saying, "Adequate security measures have been taken." The Nebbi RDC, Peter Odok Wod Ocheng, said the ambush was carried out by a group of about 20 suspected LRA rebels. According to Susan Abenakyo, and Ocaki, victims of the attack, the thugs first shot a park ranger, Stephen Asiimwe, and Sekasi before spraying the students with bullets. Abenakyo died at Nebbi Hospital on Wednesday. Ends
