KAMPALA - State Attorney Frank Rusa yesterday asked the High Court to uphold a 14-year jail term against the parents of 12-year-old Enock Sebbanga, convicted of attempted murder. Principal Judge Herbert Ntabgoba said he would give his judgment on a date to be announced later. Buganda Road Court Chief Magistrate Ms. Catherine Bamugemereire on October 12, 2000, sentenced Charles Kayongo and Regina Nabakooza to 14 years imprisonment after finding them guilty of starving and torturing Sebbanga to near death.
