An unbeaten 120 from Nehal Bibodi gave Destroyers a massive 222 runs win over JACC, but the stunning result of the day saw Wanderers hammering defending champions Premier by five wickets in their opening Bank of Baroda match.

Bibodi opening for his side in Jinja, hit his ton off 122 balls and struck a solid partnership of 130 runs with mid-order batsman Keyur Padya who hit an unbeaten 86. In another cricket league opener, Tornado showed they will be major contenders for the Bank of Baroda trophy when they silenced fancied Africa by nine wickets at Lugogo oval. Tornado opted to field and dismissed ACC for 107 runs. At Kyambogo oval, Captain Tendo Mbazi claimed four wickets for 39 runs as Michael Ndiko hit 35 to give a sounding victory to Wanderers. Right hand batsman Joel Olweny was 50 not out. Ends
