Besigye Irks Supporters

KAMPALA - Former presidential candidate Dr. Kizza Besigye's absence at a function organised in memory of his supporters killed near Bweyogerere during campaigns irked his supporters who waited for him in vain on Saturday. The organiser of the function, Kaloli Kiwanuka, the youth councillor for Mpigi and Wakiso, told The New Vision that he had spent money to mobilise supporters. He said the function had also been organised to congratulate Besigye for beating Yoweri Museveni in the area. Ends
