ANC mourn Pan Africanist Dean

AFRICA National Congress (ANC), the ruling party in South Africa has mourned veteran motor rally administrator and former national champion Jimmy Dean who died on Friday.

Pan African Movement executive member Badrudeen Khalifan yesterday said the ANC condolence message was sent by the foreign affairs minister Nomhle Lindiwe-zulu. The late Dean who was a strong pan Africanist died of massive heart attack. "The minister sent the message on behalf of ANC members, the official condolence message will be sent through the embassy," Khalifan said. Dean, a former chairman of Uganda Motor Club and long time director of Uganda Television would be buried today at 4:pm at Lugogo Muslim cemetery. Ends
