Mugher for Lugogo meet

ETHIOPIA side Mugher men have entered the East and Central Africa volleyball club championship due next week at Lugogo, reports Samson Opus. Uganda Volleyball Federation (UVF) secretary Joseph Opio yesterday said Mugher brings to eight foreign teams entered in the week-long tournament starting Monday at Lugogo. The Ethiopian champions arrive on Saturday. "It is going to be a stiff tournament," said Opio who said arrangements are in top gear. Kenya's Ulinzi men and women, Jeshi GSU and Kenya Commercial Bank men, Jeshi Stars of Tanzania, Rwanda's army side APR, Kampala's KAVC, KCC men and women Makerere University will vie for honours. Ends
