By Douglas Mazune Ugandan professional boxer Justin Juuko, who lost his North American title in the US last month, has said he is still too good to quit the ring. "There are some people who are saying that I should retire, I can't quit now. I was just unlucky but I am still a good fighter. I will fight on, I want to become a world champion and I will achieve it," Juuko said. "As long as I feel, I can still beat the champions in my division I won quit the ring." He said he wants to bring a non-title fight in Uganda in July, then another tune up fight in the US in September before he takes shot at a world title again. Juuko, who lost his NABF junior lightweight title to a stand-in opponent Mexican Earnesto Zepeda when he was knocked out in the fifth round, explained his title aspirations yesterday at a press conference on his return from Las Vegas. Zepeda took on a demoralised Juuko after IBF champion Steve Forbes pulled out of his title defence against the Ugandan just two days to the fight. "I am now well known in boxing circles, I don't need to be top ranked or second to get a title fight," he said. Ends
