Vivian Kigozi, Sara Nantongo and Sylvia Mboni were the goal heroes as the league champions triumphed in a tense match against top of the table Precious Ladies at Lugogo hockey stadium. Weatherhead Ladies who put up a series of poor shows falling 2-0 to Kampala Classified and 1-0 to Kampala Precious in the past one week now have three points. Classified and Precious top the ladies league table with seven and six points each. Weatherhead Ladies trail the standings with four points. In the men's league, Wananchi A outclassed Wananchi B in another thrilling match at the same venue. The former champions spurred by Guru Singh pipped new entrants Wananchi B 1-0 to win the tension packed game. Wananchi A now leads the league table with eight points from four matches. The league organised by Uganda Hockey Association (UHA) has Weatherhead team as women defending champions and Sadolin Rockets for men. Ends
