With an inspired display of pace bowling from left arm bowler Henry Kato and paceman Henry Okecho, Tornado limited Premier batsmen to a paltry 74 runs with more than half the allotted overs to play. Having won the toss, Premier opted to bat but failed to attain the minimum batting runs losing five wickets in the first twelve overs with 17 runs on board. Skipper Henry Okecho claimed a career best four wickets for 14 runs as dreaded bowler Henry Kato also ensured a four-wicket haul to cut out the hopes of the defending champions in the early morning. Benjamin Musoke and Joel Olweny stole the limelight with an undefeated 45 and 11 runs respectively overhauling the set score in only 9.3 overs to end the match before lunch. At Kyambogo, Africa CC triumphed over Nile CC by a massive 124 runs to registered their third successive win of the league. Man-of-the-match Junior Kwebiha proved vital for the side when things seemed to be getting worse to the advantage of Nile CC. The top order batsman scored a brilliant 30 in his innings backed by two magnificent sixes as national players John Lubia, Simon Nsubuga and Frank Nsubuga had the worst day of their careers. It looked like the game would then swing fully Nile's way as ACC lost early vital wickets. ends
