UAHF elects

Walugembe Musoke is the new Uganda Amateur Handball Federation (UAHF) chairperson. Musoke, the Bank of Uganda public relations director edged Sheila Agonzibwa 17-16 in a hotly contested poll at Lugogo Saturday. He ended the reign of veteran Agonzibwa, arguably, Uganda's longest serving local sports administrator. Agonzibwa who later declined to stand for the post of treasurer, has led the handball body for 20 years. Police officer Jackson Byamugabe was elected vice chairman. Ends
