BY REUBEN OLITA IN NAIROBI UGANDA'S Francis Nyangweso will face two opponents in today's Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA) elections in Mombasa to be witnessed by IOC president Juan Antonio Samaranch. A total of 53 ANOCA members convene at the Whitesands hotel to elect the new officials in what Maj. General Nyangweso said yesterday will be tough elections. The Ugandan, who is also an Amateur International Boxing Association (AIBA) vice president, will be opposed by Fidel Waura from Gabon and Guinean Dialo Ibrahim for the coveted seat. Waura is a member of the executive committee of Anoca while Dialo is a member of the International Olympic Committee. Uganda Olympic Committee boss Nyangweso was elected interim president in September 1999, taking over from Congolese Jean Claude Ganga who resigned over allegations of bribery in the Salt Lake city scandal. Kenyan Charles Mukora was among the casualties and resigned as the Olympic boss in Kenya. Ends
