By Alfred Wasike THE Lubaga South Member of Parliament, Ken Lukyamuzi, was yesterday arrested by the Police for disrupting President Yoweri Museveni's rally at Natete grounds. The Police in Natete held Lukyamuzi for about 20 minutes for disrupting the rally thrice. They cautioned him and released him. Lukyamuzi was picked up at about 4:10p.m. The O.C Natete Police Station, Sam Egaya, said, "We had to caution him against disrupting the rally. We released him after that. It is an offence to disrupt a lawful gathering," Egaya said. Lukyamuzi told The New Vision, "I am the area MP and therefore I have a right to be everywhere," as his supporters pushed his battered maroon Sonata vehicle. Museveni arrived at the rally at 6:08p.m. He urged voters to vote for Ssembatya Ddungu the proprietor of Mwanamugimu Cosmetics and Margaret Zziwa. "The people of Lubaga South have wasted five years. In order not to waste another five, there are three huge stones that you must remove from around your necks. "The three obstacles to the development of the area are Ssendikaddiwa, Lukyamuzi and Ssebaana Kizito," Museveni said. "The Movement has done big things like removing Obote and Amin, bringing peace, taming the army, bringing UPE and other facilities but you have blocked the development of your own area by electing the wrong people. They are politically blind. Elect Ssembatya and he will help unblock the tubes," Museveni said in Luganda to cheers of an excited crowd that filled the football ground near the Police station. He repeated the same calls to rallies in Wankulukuku and Ndeeba. "People like Ssebaana, Sarah Nkonge, Damiano Lubega, Nsubuga Nsambu, Wasswa Lule should not be elected because they have two problems. One is that they want to tear the Movement apart and second is that they are lazy," he said. Ends
