By Alex Balimwikungu There was drama in Makerere's Kikoni Clibas Hostel when two male neighbours fought fiercely. The rooms in the hostel are separated by plywood and have no ceiling. According to a reliable source, the incident took place on June 17, on the eve of the semester exams at Makerere University. Twaha, one of the boys in third year who was busy trying to read in his room found the music in the next room too loud. Complaints at first yielded nothing. However, when the music was tuned down, he got more than he had bargained for! Lo and behold! The neighbour was busy attending to 'marital obligations'. The sound that came from his neighbour's room was not music to his ears and other parts. Infuriated, he hurled a shoe into the next room. which must have hit his target. In a flash, the neighbour came for him and a scuffle ensued. Blows and curses flew in the air with the lover boy constantly arguing that it was not his problem that Twaha was a 'vegetarian'. (boy without a girlfriends). They were pacified but management should improve this problem of accommodation. Ends
