Group "A" Management of Services 1. Management of main and supermarket (Re-advertised) 2. Management of Municipal lorry park 3. Management of Municipal abattoir 4. Management of Municipal public conveniences (ALL) 5. Management of special car hire services 6. Management of boda boda (motorcycles) 7. Management of Kumi road market 8. Management of Soroti Road, market. 9. Management of Bugwere road market. 10. Management of municipal bus park 11. Management of washing bay at the main taxi park. 12. Boda boda (bicycles) 13. Collection of property rates arrears up to 2001/2002 14. Supply of office stationery 15. Supply of drugs and medical equipment 16. Supply of uniforms, protective clothing equipment. 17. Supply of graduated tax tickets for 2002 18. Printing of motor/bicycle stickers 19. Printing of receipts. 20. Supply of furniture 21. Supply, repair and maintenance of office equipment 22. Repair and maintenance of council motor vehicles and cycles 23. Supply of electrical equipment 24. Supply and servicing of computers and accessories 25. Cleaning of municipal offices, Kumi Road offices and Municipal Yard. 26. Maintenance of open spaces, cemeteries, parks and cleaning of roads (the details of the scope of work can be obtained from the Municipal Engineer). Group "C" Contracts The Local Government of Mbale Municipal Council together with the Constituent 3 Divisions and parishes shall be receiving Local Government Development Fund (LGDF) and intend to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the following contracts: 27. Construction of the community centre at Namatala 28. Repair of the water flush toilet. 29. Re-grading of Queens Way. 30. Grading of Namirundu Road 31. Grading of Wanyera Road 32. Construction of sanitation connected to sewage at Namatala Health Centre. 33. Construction of office block (Phase I) 34. Opening of drain from main market to main taxi park. 35. Opening of drain from police to Nashibiso River. 36. Spot improvement of Independence Avenue. Non-refundable fee payable on application is Shs 100,000 each bid. Terms and conditions: Attach the following:- 1. Valid Trading Licence - 2000 2. Income Tax Clearance Certificate - 2000 3. VAT Registration Certificate 4. Original receipt of non-refundable fees 5. Graduated tax ticket of 2001. 6. Certificate of incorporation. 7. Memorandum and Articles of Association. 8. Two passport size photographs of applicant. 9. Full details of past experience in doing similar work including certificates. 10. Contract bids shall be valid for 90 days after the bid opening.
