Museveni To Meet Kabila

KAMPALA - President Yoweri Museveni and the Congolese leader, Joseph Kabila, are expected to meet in Tanzania today for the first time, to talk about the peace process in the Congo, a Ugandan official said. "The talks will revolve around speeding up the Lusaka peace process," Museveni's press secretary, Hope Kivengere told Reuters. The meeting, hosted by Tanzanian President Benjamin Mkapa, was initially scheduled for mid-last month, but was postponed by Kabila, Ugandan officials said. Ends
