THE Chief Magistrate's Court in Tororo, presided over by Margaret Mafabi, yesterday ordered the returning officer, Sylvester Oboth, to conduct a recount of ballots of the woman parliamentary elections in Bunyole county, reports Faustine Likabana.
THE Chief Magistrate's Court in Tororo, presided over by Margaret Mafabi, yesterday ordered the returning officer, Sylvester Oboth, to conduct a recount of ballots of the woman parliamentary elections in Bunyole county, reports Faustine Likabana.
The exercise shall be conducted at the Tororo court chambers.
Mafabi ruled that in case the exercise affected the results of the second respondent, Dorothy Hyuha, then she will meet the costs. Hyuha who won the poll, was represented by Henry Nampana and P. Mugisha. Mafabi ordered ballot boxes to be picked from the sub-counties.
