Woman on murder trial

MASAKA – A woman appeared before court charged with poisoning her father to death. Joanita Nakato Namatovu, 25, of Kyebazi village in Kyannamukaaka, is alleged to have used a banana weevil pesticide to poison her father Steven Matovu Ssalongo last Saturday. Grade Two magistrate Moses Ndifuna advised her not to say anything because the case against her was a only triable by the High Court. Ends
