THE parliamentary committee on appointments is on standby to vet President Museveni's new Cabinet, which is expected any time, write Vision Reporters. The Speaker, Edward Ssekandi, yesterday adjourned the House to Tuesday next week but said the appointments committee may be called back anytime. The 67-member committee chaired by the Speaker, is responsible for vetting and approving ministers and other presidential appointees. Museveni is expected to name his Cabinet anytime. He has already named the Vice- President, Dr. Specioza Kazibwe, the Prime Minister, Prof. Apolo Nsibambi and AG Francis Ayume. Nsibambi and Ayume have appeared before the committee. Ends
