KCC joins local council association

By James Bakunzi THE newly created districts and 98 sub-counties have been enrolled as members of the Uganda Local Authorities Association, the secretary general of the association, said on Monday. Kampala City Council is one of the new members. Mr. Magyezi said the membership of the association was increasing because key issues like amendments in the Local Government Act are being worked on. He said workshops would be organised to resolve conflicts between district technical staff and local council officials. Ends
