KAMPALA — Former Attorney General Joseph Ekemu yesterday asked the disciplinary committee of the Law Council for a week to pay over sh30m belonging to a Koboko trader, Mohammed Yahu.

KAMPALA — Former Attorney General Joseph Ekemu yesterday asked the disciplinary committee of the Law Council for a week to pay over sh30m belonging to a Koboko trader, Mohammed Yahu. Yahu took Ekemu to the Law Council complaining that in 1997, he (Ekemu) received on his behalf sh46.224,000 from the Government, but did not remit it to him. The money was compensation for loss of his vehicles during the Northern insurgency. The Council granted him one week in which is he expected to pay his client. Ends
