THE Masaka District Police Commander, Steven Kasiima, has advised prison warders and officials who would be appointed to the judicial community service programme to avoid forcing female convicts into sex.
The DPC was on Thursday delivering a paper on the community service programme to local council officials, prison warders, religious leaders and elders who are key players in enforcing the programme.
Kasiima said there was a growing bad habit among the warders of tricking beautiful female inmates to perform some tasks in their rooms like washing clothes, laying their beds and general cleaning, but later follow and force them into sex. He said the practice was illegal and must be condemned.
