DESTROYERS CC secured another victory by beating spirited Africa CC by three wickets in a tense Bank of Baroda league game at Lugogo oval yesterday.
A solid unbeaten 35 from mid order batsman Keyur Padia propelled Destroyers to victory and ensured they remain on top of the league table.
African, who started on a high note with a stout hand from veteran Steven Luswata (42), failed to maintain their batting power when they lost the last eight wickets adding only 50 runs on a score of 89.
Luswata ensured a 76 run partnership with opener Paul Kaheru (27) before Nehal Bibodi (4/18) dismissed him.
Destroyers, with three games to play this season, face Wanderers next month.
