By Ebenezer Bifubyeka PRESIDENT Yoweri Museveni has donated a double-cabin pick-up truck to the outgoing managing director of Lake Mburo Resettlement Scheme, Eric Kirimani, as a reward for his services. The Minister of Works, Transport and Communication, John Nassasira, who represented Museveni said this on Sunday at Kirimani’s farewell party held at Kanyaryeru sub-county headquarters, Kashari in Mbarara. The party was also to welcome the incoming managing director the Reverend Charles Bwirizayo. Nassasira said the government would give land titles to all the squatters on the 120 square metres of Kanyaryeru Resettlement scheme. “These people fought for the peace we are enjoying today before they were displaced from Luweero. Therefore, they deserve maximum respect,” he said.
