By Sebidde Kiryowa Krystal Entertainment, a local entertainment group, is organising a local talent show at Kaos Sports bar on Kitante Road. Code-named ‘The Krys Mega Fest’, the show is slated for tomorrow, August 25, from 10:00a.m to 8:00pm for sh3,500. Krystal Entertainment comprises a trio of young music promoters. Nicholas Masaba is the administrative director, Kevin Ziwa is managing director, while Kayinke Dominic is the coordinator. The show will be sponsored by Club Silk, 21st Century Cinema, Kaos, Webcity Café and Epic Video library. Kevin Ziwa said the show will target young people, most especially students on holiday and school leavers. “The holiday season starts today (Friday), so what we have done is to invite various schools to come and participate. We have come up with various competitions in which we shall gauge people’s talents. We shall have a dancing competition, modelling, a pool table tournament and miming, among others,” Ziwa said. He said they had invited established young performers like Evolution, Molisa (a dance troupe consisting of two girls), ragga star Bebe Cool and Momo M.C, among others. “We invited them over basically as guest artists who are meant to spice up the show, but also to inspire the young and inexperienced talent around,” Ziwa said. He said the group does not only seek new talent but is also committed to promoting the already existing ones. Krystal Entertainment has been involved in organising many other rap festivals before. ends
