A TOTAL of 30 secondary schools are set to take part in the National Post Primary Schools Volleyball championship at St Joseph Naggalama this weekend.

By Fred Nangoli A TOTAL of 30 secondary schools are set to take part in the National Post Primary Schools Volleyball championship at St Joseph Naggalama this weekend. Uganda Volleyball Federation (UVF) general secretary, Joseph Opio yesterday disclosed that 30 school’s had registered for the event. “All is set for the national schools volleyball championship at St Joseph Nagalama,’’ he said. He also disclosed that St Teresa SS from Kasese district was already in Kampala for the tournament. Defending boys’ champions Manjasi High School and Mt. St. Mary’s Namagunga (girls) are set to defend their titles. Kibuli SS, Makerere College, Nabisunsa Girls School, St Mary’s College Kisubi, Stella Maris College — Nsube, Trinity College — Nabbingo, St. Joseph’s Girls — Nsambya and St Peter’s Tororo are part of the rich entry. He also said Old Kampala Deaf School and Bugema Adventist College would also take part. The annual tournament is sponsored and organised by UVF in Kampala. The federation secretary also said that National Council of Sports (NCS)had donated four balls and two nets for the competition. Ends
