Democratic Republic of Congo rebel leader Mbusa Nyamwisi’s cabinet line up has been released, writes Vision Reporter.
Sources from his eastern DR Congo controlled region told The New Vision that the Cabinet comprises 17 ministers and nine deputies.
Mbusa Nyamwisi was named president and minister of defence, Tibasiima Ateenyi (vice-president and commissioner for energy and Salim Kabagambe (commissioner for regional co-operation).
Kimputu was named liaison officer with MONUC, the UN observer mission in the region, Louis Mubindukira (commissioner for justice), Adrian Okele (commissioner for the presidency), Jerome Kamaate (finance and budget) and Kisembo Bitamara (commissioner for education.
Mr. Lubanga took the transport portfolio while Michael Rutatenguho was named for transport and communication, and Worome Upon named minister of economy/commerce and agriculture.
Others are Nyonyi (governor and commissioner forestry and urban development), Kisuku for environment and conservation, Tsombo (information), Ondu (culture), Rurapi (without portfolio) and Kambere Balekwa (presidential affairs).
