AT least 10 secondary schools in Uganda have had their students involved in strikes over poor school administrations and food shortage

By Dennis Ojwee AT least 10 secondary schools in Uganda have had their students involved in strikes over poor school administrations and food shortage from July to August this year, a survey by The New Vision has revealed. Over 1,000 students have been suspended over the strikes. In northern Uganda, seven secondary schools, both government-aided and private went on strike over poor administration and meals. Kitgum High School went on strike in July followed by Pajule Technical School in Pader and later Comboni College in Lira. The schools were closed.
