FORMER Kampala Central parliamentary candidate and ex-professional boxer, Godfrey Nyakana, has said he is not violent as depicted in the press.

By Solomon Muyita FORMER Kampala Central parliamentary candidate and ex-professional boxer, Godfrey Nyakana, has said he is not violent as depicted in the press. “Though I am a former boxer, I remained a well disciplined person who has respect for everyone. Don’t get scared of me because I’m a human being like you. Some people are trying to tarnish my name by calling me a violent man,” Nyakana said. Nyakana, proprietor of Playaz Enterprises, a boutique on Wilson Road in Kampala, accused his business partners and political rivals of fuelling accusations against him that he is violent. Nyakana, who was addressing a press conference, was remanded in Luzira last weekend for jumping bail over an assault case. The court, however, released him on new bail conditions. He is accused of assaulting Paul Mubiru, his former employee. Ends
