Central Market 1.3. Pick-ups/lorry park 1.4. Boda boda parking fees 1.5. Abattoir 1.6. Night parking fees 1.7. Tractor hire 1.8. Washing bay. 2. Supply/services 2.1. Printing of stationery/Graduated tax for FY 2001/2002 2.2. Supply of stationery. 3. a) Construction works 3.1. Rehabilitation of Kyerinda Road 0.7 km 3.2. Rehabilitation of Market Street, Ngira Ebisa Road 0.55km 3.3. Rehabilitation of Ngobi Road (0.59) km 3.4. Rehabilitation of Church Road, Water avenue (0. 7) km 3 b) Supply of reinforced concrete pipes 600. c) Construction of hygienic slab and drainage system in the abattoir. d) Physical plan consultancy services. e) Storm water drainage on Market Street and Ngira Ebisa Roads. f) Routine Road maintenance 27km g) Supply and fixing of 3 gates at Main market. 4. Environmental protection 4.1. Construction of Ash pit and planting of trees along Jinja - Kamuli Road, Lubanyi - Luzinga Road and Leisure park on Lubanyi Road. CONDITIONS OF TENDERS: i) Non refundable application fees of shs 100,000/= for items 1, 3.1 - 3.4; shs 70,000 for item 1.2; shs 50,000= for items 1.3 - 1.5, 3 b - 4. 1; shs 30,000= for items 1.6 and shs 20,000= for items 1.7,1.8,; Shs 30,000 for items 2.1, 2.2. ii) Names of the firms/company/ individual iii) Names of banker/Account number. iv) Physical and postal address v) Certified or original photocopies of registration certificate. vi) Certified or original photocopies of current income tax clearance. vii) Certified or original photocopies of VAT clearance. viii) Graduated Tax Tickets for 3 years ix) Valid trading license for year 200 1. x) Documentary evidence of past performance. xi) All cash to be paid in Tropical Africa Bank, Jinja Branch, Account No. 305679 to carry the banking slips to cashier BTC who will issue a receipt. a copy of which is to be attached to the application. xii) Successful bidders must pay a bond fee equivalent to one month as detailed in the tender document. xiii) Successful bidders shall pay a one month’s advance payment before entering into contractual agreement for item 1. xiv) The Board decision is final and is not bound to accept the lowest or the highest or any other bids and reserves the right to reject any bid xv) Any form of identification on envelopes and late submission will lead to automatic disqualification. The tender applications sealed in a plain envelope clearly marked “TENDER FOR....” shall be submitted to: Secretary,Buwenge Urban Tender Board P.O. Box 4809, Buwenge to reach him not later than 20th of September, 2001 at 10.00 a.m. Thereafter, bids will be opened on the same day in the presence of Board members, bidders or their representatives and other interested parties.
