Kitgum RDC appeals to residents

By Justin Moro THE Kitgum Resident District Commissioner, Alex Apecu, has appealed to residents to assist and love children formerly abducted by Joseph Kony’s Lord’s Resistance Army rebels. He made the appeal while inspecting two newly installed grinding mills for Kitgum concerned women association (KICWA) in Kitgum town last week. KICWA is a local NGO which gives psychosocial support to formerly abducted children in Kitgum and Pader districts. Apecu said, “There is need for the residents to show love, concern and reconciliation to the former LRA abducted children if peace and economic development are to return to the region.”
